I' love him close to Valentines Day,...years ago. I would like to get another but with Covid still around, I don't know how well it would fare. I also had a great relationship with each one I had.
Our children had class pets when we were living in England in the 1970’s. I can’t think of what they were, but similar to guinea pigs. We often cared for them at home over the weekends or school holidays. I don’t think we have class pets in Australia. Perhaps some schools do. Thanks again for the lovely puzzle.😊
I first fell in love with them when I worked daycare and preschool! Class pet! I have bought three, cared for one at school and resecured three, that became homeless. My Lab loved them and treated them as if they were baby puppies. And loved being noisy every time when the fridge door was open. Lol
What a beautiful face! Guinea pigs make such wonderful pets. My children used to have them, but it was always Mum that ended up with the job of caring for them!😊
Guinea Pigs are the sweetest. One I named Angel and Tidy. They had three babies. Jade, Shirley and Fluffy. Angel was such a sweet girl. She would cuddle up on My chest and sleep while I watched television. Our last one passed away two weeks ago. Her name was Rat-A-Tat.
Thanks for commenting. Jason the first, was so vocal and would talk up a storm when I held him...so much in fact at teachers meetings we held in our room, I'd held him and he talked so much with his squeaks that I was told to put him back in the cage!
Ohh Betty, I had one many many years ago before I moved here, my was a Peruvian with long dark grey fur fading to white it would drag along the floor , it looked like a little mop scooting around when he was out with me. The are so endearing, thanks for sharing my friend, Blessings.
I really want to! I fall in love with them so easy and I had some cute names! Jason was named by the class but when started tossing toys in cages I took him home w/ me.
Cookie and Sugar had had homes and already named, one child outgrew her and the other found out, like John, allergic.
I named the next 3, I bought and the one as gift: Zest & Sprig, I were sisters, I named Keeper but play on words really meant: Keep Her!
Gem&I (you can guess).
Last summer as we were driving our village streets, I saw an old Jeep with the J missing(off the hood of it...thus would love to name a new one...Eep!
No, I had a pen for her and (all of them) John is allergic to animal hair. As a kid, swelled up and skin turned red. Oh forgot that I was give one as a Christmas present from the classes foster grandmother..I named Joy.
