Hi Nancy, I hope you have a great 2019! Glad you enjoy the puzzles I post. I just post things I like and hope others do also.

Happy New Year's Eve, Carol. Such fun to solve this puzzle tonight. I think madronas are the most wonderful trees--green leaves year around, the colorful peeling bark exposing the smooth colorful wood of the tree and such fascinating shapes. When I lived near Anacortes, I transplanted one from a friend's property & sadly, it rejected the move. I later learned they need rugged rocky environment just as shown in the background of this wonderful photo.
Thank you for the many puzzles you've posted (and I've solved) of the magnificent area where you live. Nancy

What a surprise! Your local photographer is amazing. I'm glad to hear your dear friend loves NC too! Hope you have a great weekend......Cyndi

Hi Isaly, believe it or not this is a photograph done by a local photographer. I agree, it looks like a painting! I don't know much about photographer's techniques. :) I see you live in NC. Beautiful state - have a dear friend who moved to Murphy a few years back. He loves it.

Beautiful painting! The lighting and shading in this are amazing. TFP ~ Cyndi
