Val, I hope everything goes well for your brother. Thank you for sharing this pretty photo of your garden, so far every part of your garden is incredibly beautiful.

Thank you Rebekka, I am having a echocardiogram this Thursday, and see the cardiologist on 20th Nov for results.☺♥

Bekkabee

Val, I hope everything goes well for your brother. If I remember correctly, you're going in the hospital this month, right? Well, I'm glad you have a little getaway planned; I think you'll be ready for it when it comes. Hugs :-)

valt46

Thank you Jacquie, yes we are both feeling a bit stressed, and it is rather hot here tonight as well. My brother is feeling all calm and ready for Monday. Jim has booked us two nights in Ascot Park Hotel in December in Invercargill then 3 nights in Rydges in Queenstown over my birthday time so we are both looking forward to that☺♥

Val, I hope things go well for your brother and you are able to enjoy relaxing in your gazebo again soon. You do sound very busy... Jacquie

Suzy thank you for dropping by and your good wishes for my brother. It was lovely to stay at home today and just potter in the garden, tomorrow we are taking a friend on a fund raising tour of gardens and open homes, hopefully no hills or I will be in the car. My brother has to be at the hospital at 7.30am Monday morning an early start for us☺♥

valt46

Lunie thank you that is Flagstaff you can see in the distance, it had the big fire on top a few weeks ago☺♥

valt46

Jaklien welcome and thank you, it is lovely to just sit there☺♥

valt46

Oh Jill I hope your wedding went well, as it has been so hot, I did some edging cut backs under a sun umbrella, Lincoln joined me for the shade, I managed just over an hour PHEW! Hugs

valt46

Thank you Rebekka I think it seems big because most of the property is gardens. it is only about half to three quarter acre of ground☺♥

valt46

Thank you Nev you and Marge would always be welcome in our gardens♥♥♥

pumpkinhead

The gazebo seems to be a fine place to sit and escape the madness. A lovely look at your garden, Val. Wishing the best to your brother.

Dilubreuer

The mountain is an added attraction Val...your place is idyll.

Jaklien

Wow, what a view, magnificently!

ulangariver

Jill, are you a Civil Celebrant? ♥♥♥

JillianB

Beautiful view from the gazebo. Hopefully this weekend you will be glad of the shade of the gazebo! I'm taking a wedding on Sunday afternoon and they are forecasting 31C hope the smallish old chapel they are using is not too stuffy. Thanks Val & hugs

Bekkabee

Val, you really do have a large amount of property, don't you. You can't tell from some of your pictures. And you have about 100 Rhodies -- that's amazing! And that's a lot of work, too, I can imagine. But it's all gorgeous! Thank you for sharing :-)

ulangariver

Val, three terrific photos today. I always enjoy spending time with you in your garden (via Jigidi). Thanks for sharing. ♥♥♥

valt46

Thank you Deanna, we enjoy gardening both of us, of course I had to get someone in to help do some of my work weeding and deadheading as an hour in the garden is about all I can manage now. They come once or twice a week in Summer and now to deadhead our Rhodos, Camelias as we have about 100 Rhodos. ☺♥

Deanna

Val, how beautiful it would be to spend a moment with you in the gazebo and admire your amazing garden. Thank you for showing us another interesting view, it's really beauty. I'm still surprised at how much work you and Jim are doing to your beautiful garden, I know how difficult it is ♥:))

valt46

Dobra I feel the same when I see your garden photos, I would love to be there and see round the corners of your garden and see Julie☺♥

valt46

Ardy thank you, you are a good friend, he is very lucky it has not spread at all, so going in with good results promised apart from his age he is 75 Hugs my friend♥♥♥

valt46

Thank you Janet, not much relaxing going on here at the moment, and the weather has not been helpful, lots of rain, but this weekend is supposed to very warm with hot air from Australia, maybe then lol Hugs♥♥♥

ringleader

I'll be praying for him, Val and for you. Hugs♥♥

dobrajaneckova

Val, I'm so glad to see your garden at least through your pictures. In reality it will never be possible.

jan42ful

How beautiful thanks Val, how lovely to relax there and gaze out at your garden. Hugs to you. ♥♥♥

valt46

Ardy that would be wonderful, as they say we can all dream. I am just back from dropping my brother to the hospital for his pre admission checks, they say takes 4 hours, I think they were surprised I did not stay with him, when I left him he was in a waiting room with about 6 others and no seating left he was happy he had his crosswords to do. He has his op on Monday, his daughter lives in the North Island she is coming to stay with us when he gets out of hospital, my brother lives with his son, who has been too busy to do all the appointments. We are feeling quite tired with all the added stress but soon will be all over Hugs my friend,♥♥♥

valt46

Jacquie when we were still working we use to have a wine sitting down there in the late afternoon sun thank you for dropping by☺♥

ringleader

Would so love to be able to visit in person, Val. I can picture us sitting in the gazebo enjoying all the beauty around us and talking. Maybe a cup of tea. Thanks, for sharing. Hugs♥♥

Jacquie129

Val, this is a very restful view of your garden. I hope you manage to spend time in your gazebo enjoying it. TFS, Jacquie
