Wow, thanks for the warning. Mine seem pretty tame, probably because they were raised by a bantum chicken. Maybe when they hatch, I will put them under the bantum to raise. She did a good job last time.

Oh you are a brave woman. I had a guinea sit on eggs. She hatched them. Perfect mother. It was fine until one day I went to feed and water her and babies. And she literally flew in my face and attacked me. Got me down my face next to my eye. Chased me across the yard hitting me with her wings. I had to pick up a rake to keep her off me. Next time I am buying a suit of armor. LOL>

My guineas look like the one in the middle. I have 4 females and one male. I am letting them set on 3 eggs and I take the others away every day so I won't have too many new guineas. It is interesting to see how they take turns on the nest. --Merrie
