Suzy, you described it as perfectly as if we were together. I know walking intimately in the mud, the squeaky sounds and the feeling that in a moment you will be just in socks ... LOL
As for the seasons - winter, mud, spring, summer, fall and mud, we have the same thing. Also in spring there is more mud than in late autumn ♥:))

Here we have four seasons.....winter, mud, spring, summer and fall. Mud season can also happen between fall and winter, but usually the ground is frozen then. :)
A muddy road or trail makes for an interesting walk as the mud sucks at your boots and makes such interesting noises as it attempts to take the boot from your foot.

Jill, I see you and I am happy to be here with you. I regret we are going down a muddy road and getting our shoes dirty. In the meadows we will have a chance to clean them a bit in the grass ♥:))
