Yes, indeed, Berkeleyborn.

Berkeleyborn

So. . . we've both been "to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts"! Syncronicity.

carolsmc

Yes, I understood that, Berkeleyborn, and of course was visiting the website when I found this piece. But I really do hope to visit the museum in person within the year, especially after exploring the online collection.

Berkeleyborn

Carol, when I said I visited the Boston Museum to see it up close. . .I meant on-line. Which yes, it is possible for you "to visit" soon. . . just as I did.

carolsmc

@eddikit, I'm glad you like it, as I do, and appreciate your comments on it.

Lovely puzzle, I really enjoyed this one thank you

carolsmc

Oh, yes! I hope to visit that museum sometime soon.

Berkeleyborn

I went to the Boston museum where I could find it full screen. . .So must riches there.

carolsmc

Thank you, Bb. I was thinking that it looks like swords were being made and that perhaps the man in the upper right corner is weaving. Your comments helped me feel clearer about what is going on.

Berkeleyborn

Yes, I think he must be the supervisor of these artisans who seem to be weavers and sewers, and blacksmiths and sword makers. The man in green is shaded and has someone just holding a parasol and can move it as the sun moves. Thank you.

It means a great deal that you enjoyed this, @Berkeleyborn. Some of the activities depicted seem reasonably clear to me (sewing and metalworking for example), while others are not. If you any ideas about them, I'd love to hear them. I wonder what the man in green is doing sitting inside his little 3-sided screen. It looks like he has a guard lurking beside him. Maybe he's some sort of "master" to the artisans. (?)

Berkeleyborn

carol, this is wonderful. Thank you for a great puzzle experience!
