You're absolutely right, Magda. :-))))))))))

Ah Anti-inflamatory curries with all the spices, turmeric, ginger etc. Hallo Pakistani / Indian food.

Ann, I'm amazed. I ALSO have been drinking organic green tea with honey added! And yes, I've been adding the spices to the tea as well. Come to think of it, since you mentioned arthritic pain, I haven't been stiff lately! My main concern has always been with my hand, and have ignored other pains, but you're right, it works for that too. Thanks so much for the link. But as a very cost conscious person, what I've been doing is probably a lot less expensive. It takes no time to add the spices (I keep them right on my computer desk). :-)))))))))))

Lots of good news in your message, Wendy! You know how crazy I am about plaids. Happy, also, to hear your hand is improving. You are absolutely right about ginger, turmeric and cinnamon. My husband found a tea he loves (and I love the flavor, too) and it has improved both his digestive problems and both of our arthritic pains. Here's the link: http://www.republicoftea.com/organic-turmeric-honey-tea-bags/p/V02140/ You can find it also in Whole Foods stores, but I've found it better just to order. We buy just the refill bags and put them in our own tins. I can see you're a coffee person, too. So maybe tea isn't your thing. But this is a green tea you can drink anytime without caffeine worries. Worth a try? I do not work for Republic of Tea. '0)

Ann, you'll be pleased to know that I've been working on a plaid puzzle, and it's great that someone else doesn't like the mature brussel sprouts. You're right that veggies are best fresh, and I think second best is frozen. My hand is doing much better. I was reading about spices with anti-inflammatory properties, and have been sprinkling ginger, turmeric and cinnamon on everything including my coffee and it's working! I have to remember to buy cloves because that's supposed to be one of the best spices for combating inflammation. :-)))))))))))))

PJ, I peeked at your new flowers and will be over to leave a comment shortly. They're WONDERFUL!
I'm so glad this one was fun to solve. :-)))))))))))))))

puzzlejan

Wonderful Wendy dear - great vivacious colors, super patterns - and it was such fun to solve.
PJ

I feel the same way about Brussels sprouts, Wendy! And, if I can get them, fresh are best, of course. And thanks for the great puzzles. Is your hand better?

zzzz1

Maddie, I know what butter beans are, but I love snow and snap beans more. chuckling......about you being a terrible cook. I am too! I do not like cooking one little bit. Thankfully, my husband and both 'kids' love cooking.

chuckling again, maybe the reason I love snap and snow peas so much is because no cooking is necessary. Actually, I love all veggies except for mature brussel sprouts (the big ones). Baby brussel sprouts are fine though.

madpol

Wendy, don't say sorry to the worst possible replier (probably not the correct word for "a person who replies"hahah),...I hope you slept well..
Now, the peas !! Snow peas (in Dutch : peultjes) are indeed deliclious !!! And I think, now is snow peas season :-)) Or still too early? My husband and I used to have a kitchen garden, with snow peas ! mmmmm, I really love them. The other peas are great too, much better than cauliflower. But my son lovescauliflower, so now and then, I cook it.. What I didn't see in the link you gave, are butter beans. Do you know them? I like ordinary green beans, but butter beans are so much better ! They are yellow, and taste delicious with mashed potatoes boiled eggs and butter/mustard sauce..

Wendy , I'm a terrible cook, I hate cooking. I can't believe that I'm really writing about vegetables and cooking on a puzzle site...strange......................... :-))

Maddie, I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier but very shortly after I left my last message to you, I went to bed and didn't wake up until So You Think You Can Dance came on the tv, and my alarm woke me up. Now the show is over and all I can say is that snap AND snow peas are downright delicious and can be eaten without doing anything to them. I hope you had a nice rest of the day but am thinking that you're probably sound asleep right now. :-)))))))))))

Barb, I missed you on the board, but I know that on yesterday's puzzle you were still on the board with over 160 solves! On another note, I love your doggie puzzle. :-))))))))))))

Magda, no matter where you are, and no matter what the temperature, I'm sure that you're having fun doing whatever you are doing. ;-))))))))))))

You're so very welcome, Kossamu! ❤️❤️

Ohhhh, Edie, so close and yet so far. LOL Well, I'm sure glad that I didn't have any duplicates today. For now on I'm going to be super conscious about it. I oftentimes make duplicates while creating so that I can put two squares in two different places at the same time so that I can see which place I like the square better....without having to move either one. Then I remove the one I think should be removed. I'm super glad that you enjoyed solving this one and that no duplicates were found. ;-))))))))))) and :-))))))))))))

2dogs7cats

First off let me assure you that there are no two squares alike in this puzzle Wendy. Secondly we had a high of 60 today so even though this puzzle looks summery it didn't pack any heat and lastly I'm having a hard time picking a favourit square, I like so many of them. This is a super puzzle but I'm not sure if I can make it to the top on this one. Great fun as always. Thanks Wendy :-))))))))

madpol

It's a real summer puzzle ! I loved it, thanks Wendy !!

oldiepumpkin

Lovely summer puzzle. Here we have 7°, some summer. Thanks Wendy

tigress

Quick before I disappear from the board, Wendy! LOL! Pretty patterns and a lovely way to start June. Thank you! :-)

Okay, I will,as soon as I know what snap peas are..
You know, I've been writing all this nonsense, while in the same time, I also could have solved your puzzle.... :-))))). Have a nice day./evening Wendy :-)

zzzz1

Sissel, you got me started in June with your funny puzzle earlier on today! :-)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Maddie, I won't be over for dinner tonight. I'm not a big fan of cauliflower. Let me know when you're cooking snap peas.

madpol

Yes !!!!! Thanks for the (again) compliment, and thanks for understanding what I meant. GEEEEEEEEZ it is . Now I'm gonna make dinner, it's cauliflower night, some people like that ..

Sissel

Thanks for getting June started :-))))))))))))))))))))))))

zzzz1

And I ALREADY told you long ago that your English is better than most English speaking people in the US. So that's no excuse. I guess you meant.........oh geeeeez......s***.

madpol

uhmm....... ships..uhmmm chips ??? Sorry, I don't remember :-))) You guys always forget that for me this is a foreign language !! It's not fair !!

zzzz1
