Flowers For Easter

I have a 1/4 acre--if I talk about the "back 40", I mean square feet!

Wish we had that luxury. We have 10 acres to maintain without any help. It will either keep us young or kill us.

We're having the yard spring-cleaned tomorrow. LOL! After years and years of doing all the yardwork ourselves, we've finally been paying for spring cleanups, where they edge and mulch around the fences, trees, and gardens, rake, and trim/prune what needs it. It takes the crew maybe 2 hours, and leaves the veggie garden turned over and ready for planting as well--best decision we've made, now that we're old! So I'll have a better idea what's coming up tomorrow.....

So pretty. Nothing much in my garden yet either. Just a few gladiolas that got beat to death by the the rain and wind. The roses are looking promising though.

We had a short but violent downpour around 7:30 last night--fortunately, our reservoirs are doing well. Who knows what the summer will bring, though.....

suemarie, I would give anything for rain. Florida is tinder dry, my well is running so low, and there are so many fires.....Too bad we can't even out Mother Nature a bit.

I'll even let slip that there's a matching speaker in the other corner......

Hi, Ardy--it's supposed to be in the low 80's and sunny until later, but it's 69 and looks like it's going to rain......sigh....

From my husband--he knows how much I love flowers. In the summer, I can make my own bouquets from our garden, but all I have right now are a few daffodils and hyacinths that are somewhat the worse for wear, with our fickle weather!
