Cookie and her Poinsettia

Cookie, thank you for sharing your poinsettia with us.
Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, safe new year.

We have four cats and half a dozen poinsettia plants year-round (which have special light requirements for the bracts to turn red in December). I always buy two more poinsettias on sale in December, and discard two in the summer. Our cats have never been the least bit interested in these plants (or in Easter lilies, which are apparently more dangerous).

So beautiful Cookie and the beautiful poinsettia are probably quite compatible.

Cookie is such a pretty kitty. So glad she'll come out and visit when I come.

Lovely picture of Cookie. However, beautiful as it is, the poinsettia could make her very sick, should she decide to eat the leaves. That would be dreadful. Just thought it would be best to warn you. Good health to all.
