Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Our ginger plants have suddenly started to bloom after a poor showing last year. The scent is wonderful.

So stunningly beautiful, bet it smells heavenly too. The invasive comment also reminds me of when we lived in Oregon some years back when we were marveling at how wonderful the blackberries were. Another invasive? They grow into 30 to 35 feet long vines into the trees and anything that stands still long enough. Like in the south is the kudzu vine. Oh my! Thanks for the beauty. Mary

goldie2020 thank you , they are truly gorgeous!

misslaulau, your comments are so true here in Australia. They are indeed considered invasive, but we still have them. We are careful not to let them get into our very nearby bushland where they would romp away. We do love them and at the moment the whole backyard smells gorgeous.

What a truly gorgeous plant. TFS

One of my favorite flowers. Wearing a white ginger lei is so heavenly. In Hawaii, the white, yellow and kahili (which I think you have) are considered invasive plants which don't stop us from growing these plants. I think our love for the ginger lei is too great a tradition to give up growing the ginger plants.
