Who knows some of those are migrants from there Taisia.

davitai

Lunie, we also have Herons in our country but only rarely in my region.

Dilubreuer

Thank you IF, Nice to see you again!

We were on a road trip to the Visayas region from Manila Dean. Didi is laughing at me trying to get shots despite the movement of the running car. Of course, a lot are deleted and only a few are left for posting. Btw, those are coconut palms Dean, copra from coconut is the major export of the country.

Nice photo Lunie.

Deanna

Lunie, thank you for the interesting picture. It's amazing to see the car view of your country, the palm trees fascinate me. It's beautiful and so different from what we see in Europe. You live in an admirable country ... and there are so many herons, it's incredible :))

That's a newly harvested rice field where they are Marina, they could be picking up some rice...

Fishes

Despite the speeding car, i managed to take this not so good photo, Jacki. Just wanted to share it with you!

During harvest time, they usually are seen in rice fields in mass Ardy and BK. Guess they migrate because we can't see them here during summer, Bk.

bluebird42

Lol. I thought it was the wind, Lunie, not the car, making the shakiness. This is beautiful. Thanks.

Beekay

Were they gathered for migration or do they live in colonies?

ringleader

Don't know that I've seen so many at one time, Lunie. Thank you & Didi.
