An original Roman settlement, Caorle is a historic village in Veneto, Italy on the Adriatic Sea known for its Romanesque architecture, fishing, sandy beaches and the Duomo di Santo Stefano - Cathedral of Saint Stefano built in 1038 - in the heart of the city. The community gathers at the bell tower next door for the annual fireworks celebration. The main tourist attraction is a wall of sculpted granite rocks along the coast. Every July artists from around the world come to Caorle to spend three days carving and adding their own works of art to this amazing display. More: https://www.italyheaven.co.uk/veneto/caorle/
