Happy Belated Birthday bbandit! And thanks for the help all. This was a picture taken on a trip, from a car window for a grandson in love with trains. I am just getting to know how this works so I promise to try and add a description for future puzzles.
Did some searching and found this - - - - From June of 1950 to July of 2008, the Norfolk & Western No. 917 steam locomotive sat on the same spot rusting away in the Virginia Scrap Iron & Metal Company yard in Roanoke Virginia. On July 8, 2008, the locomotive was removed by crane and loaded on a flatbed trailer to be hauled to Ohio for restoration and display. The 917 is a W2 class steam locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia in 1903.
