ha ha Clive. How do you encourage the squirrels? I thought you had said long ago that you have Mason bees. That's why I asked. I was looking online to see what the different bees do over the winter and there were different types and different solutions. I would stay away from badgers. They can be really mean. In the town where 2 of my sons live, they have a lot of foxes. One ran through the oldest's yard one day. Flys? Do you mean butterflies? Okay, I will go look them up now, so you can save your strength. lol
Oh, Judy I can bore the pants off you about bees and birds, foxes and Badgers who love to dig my garden up looking for food. I also encourage squirrels you may think I am mad but there we go. I like to look after Mason bees they are the great pollinators of our planet they do not sting and work very hard to look after us, with out bees and flies we would not exist as humans. If you look up Mason bees in America on googgle I am sure you will be fasinated.
Winter is taking a mini break in Ohio River Valley. It is very warm today but the winds are howling. I was enjoying a nice cup of tea and a cherry pastry on my porch when the winds chased me in. It was relaxing while it lasted. Tomorrow will be warm too but heavy rains. Good luck with the bees I had fewer bees too last spring. Spring Dream grins!☺
