Why are you reporting this puzzle?

In Today’s Daily Puzzle, we visit Colmar. Colmar was first mentioned about an event in 884 in a chronicle about the Saxon wars. The city was granted the status of a free imperial city in 1226. And since then, this historical city has been under many different rulings. Today and since 1945, Colmar has been part of France.

If you’re ever lucky enough to visit this beautiful city, you’ll find a remarkably well-kept old town with many architectural landmarks and museums. It even houses a 12-meter high replica of the Statue of Liberty as it was designed by a local – namely sculptor Auguste Batholdi.

The metropolitan area of Colmar had a population of 199,234 in 2018. Would you like to pay them a visit with us today? ♥
