Thanks for liking the view, Nikki. I am of the same opinion about the heat and cold, too.

niccolino59

This is a great view across the lake, joyfulli, especially with those seed heads in the foreground. Thank you.

I'm with you, Mila - I don't like the heat. I can layer up when it's cold, even make a hot water bottle or put a flax or wheat back to heat up in the microwave oven, but there's still only so much one can decently take off in the Summer - & still be too hot!

As long as it doesn't make the winter longer, Mila!!

WhiskersNFeathers

I agree! This morning I was complaining because the wind is back and hubby said "they are saying we will have a short summer" I can definitely take that, anything for a short summer.

joyfulli

Some have already seen it go, though, PzzlGrl. Hopefully, we will soon, too.

Enough, say I !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like everyone is ready to see winter in the rear view mirror!

I will take the 60sF, thank you.

joyfulli

I'm actually that way, too, Ianto, but high 60s or low 70s would be nice!

I don't like to hot. I rather have a bit on to cooler side.

joyfulli

You've been having such temperature swings, Ianto. You get you hopes up and then they're dashed!
It is true, Jillian. That was only four days before May!
I so agree, Parson. We really need it emotionally.
Well, it's OK to be sad for us, but glad for yourself at the same time, Mila. Our weather WILL eventually change (we hope). It's starting to be a joke around here -- that we'll have summer on July 23 or so, and then will come Fall!

Again!! Lovely photo though, with the lacy growth in the foreground and the hazy trees in the distance. Our high country could benefit with some of your snow so the runoff would lessen our drought. We are already having wildfires in the Prescott Valley and just outside of north Flagstaff. There have been evacuations and homes lost. The fire swept through beautiful Sunset Crater National Monument. It is 90 here in Mesa right now with a high of 92 expected.

WhiskersNFeathers

Unbelievable! I love the cold but I think I had enough. Sorry Li (-_-)

ParsonWayne

I think you have had enough snow for the Winter/Spring. Time for some warmth.

Oh my - end of April, that really is crazy stuff.

I was in the high 80's on Sunday. It will be in the low 30's in the morning.
I know that it is not fun.

joyfulli

It is absolutely crazy-cold here still, Ianto!
Yes, yes! Move on!! It didn't stay here, either, Sylvia, but it's still frustrating! It was only 30F when I went out this morning for an appointment.
I hope not too, Jacki, for your sake. I'm glad you liked the photo.

bluebird42

Oh I do hope it doesn't make it this far east! Beautiful photo Li. Thanks.

lovesgulls

I watched it live yesterday but it didn't stay on the ground? Winter, move on!

Not again.
