Not much of a window and insurance applies. Duffers are not responsible for damages to property on the course unless they are committing s criminal act. 175 yards is a long shot anyway.
As a farmer, and friend of many farmers, that is a common occurrence, morris. A friend of mine was recently sued by a new neighbor. This friend of mine has a HUGE cattle operation, and has had for many, many years. For an operation of that size, the aroma is minimal. Thise ''city people'' bought a 5 acre lot next to him, because they wanted to enjoy the country. As soon as they built their house, they sued him for the ''smells'' from the cattle. The judge, a truly great guy, fortunately, raises Angus cattle, and threw the case out. My friend got revenge for the harassment they put him through by purchasing a bunch of hogs and setting them up along the ajoining property line with the new neighbors.
