Enjoy these crispy tasty chips while you puzzle today. In England and connected countries a chip is what we Americans call a French fry. One of the many fun things I learned traveling in England during my college years. Both are delicious! Chips & Grins!☺

Thank you for the Crisps Clive! Brings back good memories! Enjoy your treats Marina, Watchman and pasta. It can be fun how familiar foods have different names in the places and countries we travel in. Such a tasty learning experience. I'll find a few more of these treats to tempt everyone from time to time Okieclem! Diet wrecking mischief for sure!!! Chips & Grins!☺

Can you tell then the difference between Chips and Crisps? I had the same problem when I went to study in England. I had finished an American College in Greece (learning the American way of speaking-writing) and in England I couldn't understand a thing at the beginning..hundreds of differences..

@irisriver
sent you a crisp puzzle, Thee Hee !!!

Hi iris these are what we call crisps, LOL!!!
I like the McCoy beef crisps which are ribbed.

Iris, you have got to stop posting these yummy-looking summer treats -- I think I've gained 10 pounds just solving them... ha, ha! I love the thicker chips but methinks my focus in this combo is the dip. I'd use the chips just to eat the dip. ;-)

Thanks... and keep them coming. ☺
