Same here in DK without Satellite. And a good morning to you, Sir. We are waiting for the first snow today. Will turn on my wood stove against the bad spirits
Sky is a satellite company, Lis. It covers quite a bit of Europe. I pay about £56 per month but that gives me HD which is better for sport. We have a Freeview system here but there is very little sport on it.
Well, I don't know Sky, heard about them. But satellite is OK. Same here, I hartly find what I look for - sometimes even Germany has my progs. Eastenders is not what it used to be. But usually when you get satellite TV in DK you pay a lot of money every month. I paid for the install and get it free every month. But then of course there are no sub text in Danish
Thanks for the flowers! Age is only a filter - if you look behind the filter, you still, find the real person. I am satellite, so I actually get Germany and lots of UK channels incl. BBC1 and 2, ITV, channel 4. All of it free of charge, Can only be better than DK-programms. So I invested into satellite and I enjoy watching what I want. Yes, smiles and laughter are the important things when we turn into the "grey gold" and humour keeps us to life
I thought that you had mentioned Germany so I thought you were born there and then moved to Denmark. Gotcha!! Sometimes it takes a while for the right information to get into my "grey matter"!! I'm sure that you still have the looks. I find that smiles and laughter keep the looks even though they may not be the same as in younger days. Please make sure that you do plenty of both . I didn't realise that you could get Eastenders - is that on satellite or internet?
John, I spent 23 years in Germany and then moved back to Denmark. Don't you worry that you have upset me - takes a lot of work to do that. Of couse I know what a tart is: I do watch Eastendes. Have only been to the UK one - London - and two visits to the States. I studied English, Spanish and Russian when I was a good looking girl - long time agai.
Love it when you get into trouble on your own. LOL
Lis, I thought you said you you were in Germany then moved to Denmark. Got something else wrong!! I was worried, to begin with, that I had upset you but, thank goodness, I haven't. I wasn't sure if you understood "tart" but, obviously, you have them in Denmark too! Your English is really good and I was going to ask if you had spent any time in the UK.
mp: don't pitty parrotman, he likes it - and so do I. No I know I am not stupid, just my English is a bit rusty.
John, keep digging - I am ( like Betty from the River Tames: as the German call your queen) amused
Meant of course "start fishing" - didn't know you were tart fishing already. I am no German - always was a Dane - u don't need to explain to me - maybe I am slow but not very stupid
mp, you did see that it was a typo by by callas that made me laugh. I'm not sure if she will understand what I've written as she is a German living in Denmark. Perhaps I will need to explain!!!!!
