The rich colors of your flower garden are especially welcome when snow covers everything outside at the moment. Up to nine inches predicted.
Thanks, David.

Last night, the deer came through and ate most of the petunias. Very unusual, they have been eating everything, whether they like it or not. It might mean we'll have a hard winter...

Thanks for coming by, Ank and Hanne!

puzzeljac

That's still very rich. Love it

WOW!! Thanks David!!

Here, it is triple digit temperatures, with negligible humidity, that often burns foliage.

On top are the hardy mums, in their second year (they come back bigger but scragglier every year until you have to pull them out and start over, second year is best). Below are fancy petunias. They had these at the nursery in a much deeper shade of purple, almost black velvet with the white fringe. Very nice. If you look closely, you can see that the petunias got burnt in the frost two weeks ago, but they did come back. The begonias, herbs, and zinnias were all done with that one cold night.

Plumpossum

By the way, what kind of flowers are they?

Exceptionally nice, David.

A wave of red riding on a sea of green and purple. Very nice puzzle David.
