Wow!! That's awesome, Trudy!! I am fascinated by them too and find myself doing a little research...and 7 hours later shake myself loose from the computer saying "ENOUGH!!" LOL. But it's hard to stay away from something so beautiful, violent and powerful...

I have not been to that part of the world (as yet), but I have read many books and watched many TV productions about volcanos, earthquakes, plate tectonics, etc. and Krakatoa in particular. The stuff fascinates me.
