Thanks beyondwords. I live in South Louisiana so hopefully it will come back up next spring.

Rudbeckia hirta aka Blackeyed Susan is a wildflower in much of North America. I'm surprised this particular rudbeckia was included with wildflowers. It looks a lot like a named variety: Rudbeckia hirta "Cherokee Sunset." But maybe that one was developed from a wildflower. Depending on your location & climate, it may be an annual, a biennial or a perennial. Enjoy! ~Patsy

Thanks beyondwords. It’s seed came in a pack of wildflowers and I didn’t know what it was.

A beautiful double rudbeckia!

Sleeping, I guess.
