@JillianB yes the weather has warmed up but with rain on and off. We never really know what sort of weather to expect more than a couple of days in advance.

@globetrotter14 Here we have both silver (or black) and white (or paper) birches. The bark has similar peeling characteristics but a distinct color variation. Nature is so amazing!

The interesting contorted birch is something we don't see here. Our White Birch trees tend to be lithe and straightforward in their reach for the sky.
