Thanks for the memories. When I was 16 I had a New 65 Candy Apple Red Mustang. What a car. To bad they don't make like that any more.

Never have gotten to drive one of these in "car" form but would love to, my experience with these early mustangs was that when I was a teenager, I worked for my uncle at a garage, we would "rebuild" wrecks and make modifications, we put one these bodies on a lifted Jeep frame, 44" tires. It was cool to look at and drive but I figure just as much fun as this one would be, just on a different road.

nice jmbj, I had a '66 Mustang that I bought new. and so I know about not having enough room for any bigger tires. I understand why Ford went to that larger body for the '67's. Bigger tires and bigger engines.
This looks kinda funny ,,,, unusual. ? I don't care for the wheels, but I understand the need for more space for larger tires. or even better tires. These tires are too thin. Those thin tires are hard riding like a truck. Not good for me.
