Never have gotten to drive one of these in "car" form but would love to, my experience with these early mustangs was that when I was a teenager, I worked for my uncle at a garage, we would "rebuild" wrecks and make modifications, we put one these bodies on a lifted Jeep frame, 44" tires. It was cool to look at and drive but I figure just as much fun as this one would be, just on a different road.
nice jmbj, I had a '66 Mustang that I bought new. and so I know about not having enough room for any bigger tires. I understand why Ford went to that larger body for the '67's. Bigger tires and bigger engines. This looks kinda funny ,,,, unusual. ? I don't care for the wheels, but I understand the need for more space for larger tires. or even better tires. These tires are too thin. Those thin tires are hard riding like a truck. Not good for me. Pat.
