Good morning, Annie. SO GOOD to hear from you. I am sorry it is hard re-adjusting to the things you can and can't do. I know this heat is very bad on one who has a problem breathing so hang in there by that "delicious" A/C and stay as comfortable as possible. I know there isn't much to watch on TV these days. Do you read? Please don't get discouraged -- just remember there is a friend who loves you from far away and is keeping you in her thoughts and prayers each day. Yes, it has been wonderful that we "found" each other on Jigidi and I'm very happy to know you and be in touch with you, even this far away and to be able to call you "my friend." We have had temps as high as 91-92 but no 100s yet. That is terrible and it really runs up the a/c bill. :-)) But, what would we do without that a/c? Melt, I guess. :-) As you said, I'm sending bunches of hugs for your "hug box" and wishing you a good week filled with blessings you can't even imagine right now. Love you, my friend. Will check in again soon.

Hi Donna :0)
I've been doing OK. The meds seem to work pretty good. I'm readjusting to what I can do and what I shouldn't. Seems like I'm becoming a couch potato. Can't go out with this heat wave. Find it harder to breathe. Is it very hot where you are? Tomorrow its going to be 98-100 degrees. I bless the man who invented A/C. I am so grateful to have such a beautiful far-a-way friend such as you. God works in mysterious ways. Who would think that we would meet on a puzzle site? Glad we did and am blessed by your friendship. Your prayers and concern touch my heart which it certainly needs. May God bless you and always watch over you and your loved ones. Put your hugs in my hug box and a sending you more of mine. XOXOXO

Today being the 26th and ten days since I've heard from you, I just wanted to check in to see how you are doing, my friend. I know it may be hard for you to be on Jigidi a lot and I want you to TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, FIRST, so I was checking in to tell you I am thinking of you and praying for you and I love you and wish you didn't have these problems. Our friendship on Jigidi has been so real, even if we have never seen or met each other. I still feel as if I know you and your well-being always concerns me. I hope you are doing well and, when you feel up to it, drop me a line to update me. Please take real good care of yourself, Annie, and keep holding on to that "8th life" as tight as you can, my friend. :-) Love, prayers, thoughts and best wishes are with you every day from ME. LOTS OF HUGS!!!

Oh, Annie, I am very sorry you are having to go through all this. You have been through SO MUCH and here you go again. You are always a "trooper," it seems and my heart goes out to you that you will be okay with just being careful and taking it a little more "easy." At least the 2 larger arteries are in operating order, even if they are slowing down. I so hope with every prayer that you will be fine with the meds and able to keep going even if you DO have to slow down. :-) You are so right in that we each have our "crosses to bear" and we just have to do the best we can. You are always trying to be funny and "up" about things no matter what you are going through (your comment about the 8 lives) and I think that is good because sometimes our attitude about things "get us through things." I love you, my friend, and you know my prayers, best wishes and thoughts are always with you. Hang in there and take care of yourself and we'll keep doing these puzzles and talking as long as we can possibly hang in there. Update me ever so often, as you want to, as to how you are doing. See you later, dear lady. :-)

Good morning! :0) I'm back.... I had stayed at the hospital for 3 days. Had to have another catherization to have them check out the heart. Well, first two of my smaller arteries have worn out. (reason why I can't seem to breathe right and left arm pain and numbness). The other 2 larger arteries (hooray) are in operating order but slowing down. Can't have surgery again, so they are working with my heart through meds. I'm doing OK! :0) I'm a cat and I'm on my 8th life. LOL. I have to slow down more because I'm going to be short of breath from now on. We all have our crosses to carry. So, here I am...thank you for your love, prayers, and mostly your support. I know we will someday meet each other. Many hugs coming your way.

Great to see you posting this morning, Annie. What did you find out at the doctor visit? I am very anxious to hear if everything was okay. I sure hope it is and please update me if you feel you can. I care about you and want you to be well, my friend.

What a lost art today and your family is very talented!

Such BEAUTIFUL quilts. How beautifully they are displayed. Great puzzle, Annie. My Mother's side of the family were quilters and there were just amazing quilts in so many of their home. My Mother quilted when I was growing up but the quilts were done with "scraps" of material left from clothes she made, etc. Later, several years after my Mother died, the sisters, daughters, cousins on her side of the family started a "family" Sewing Circle. We met once a month at someone's home or at a central place and shared things that had been sewn, knitted, painted and quilted. We did these meetings for 20 years and it was a way to keep in touch with family. As the sisters passed away, and it got hard for some of us cousins to get to the meetings, we finally disbanded it a few years ago. I have a BEAUTIFUL quilt on my bed right now that my first cousin (and best friend) made me. She died last year with cancer and I miss her so much.
