"The Cow

The friendly cow all red and white,
I love with all my heart:
She gives me cream with all her might,
To eat with apple-tart.

She wanders lowing here and there,
And yet she cannot stray,
All in the pleasant open air,
The pleasant light of day;

And blown by all the winds that pass
And wet with all the showers,
She walks among the meadow grass
And eats the meadow flowers."

"The Cow" by Scottish novelist, essayist, poet and travel writer Robert Louis Stevenson (1850 – 1894).

Two cows and a sunset-Beautiful and peaceful.

New England pastures are green and in the 1945's when I was 5 or 6, I became very fond of the cows who grazed in our family farm. I still love the cows and steers. Eat plantbased.

Fun challenge. Thanks for sharing. :)
