Thank you, Audrey. I think you're right. I've gotten interested in the paintings of Vesuvius, but will this one spoil the others for me? We'll see.

Thank you, my friends. I really appreciate hearing from each of you. I've set aside a bunch of paintings of Vesuvius with the idea of eventually posting some of them, but since this is my favorite, the rest may be anticlimactic.

Love this painting of the eruption of Vesuvius. Even with the eruption and danger of the eruption this painting is very relaxing to look at. Interesting information, as always....

The softness of the colors with the sky glowing orange to the right of the volcano sets the Vesuvius off with the smoke plume. TFS my friend.
