We visited this home in 2017.
They offered guided tours and it was beautifully furnished.
Thanks for your interest.

@dotbinmo Digression is a right of maturity!

Oh, how neat! Being a Victorian house nut, i was thrilled to be able to go once, Seems to me there were several pieces of art hung, but maybe it was only put out for specific occasions/times. We went to Lemp Mansion too, one year. Another interesting place. Never stayed there for a murder mystery, but have eaten Sunday dinner a couple of times...was a fave of SIL's.
But I digress...sigh, so easy to do!

@dotbinmo I do not know about tours, etc. When I worked on the campus (years ago!) it was largely left open during the day and I explored the first two floors of it. Someone lived in the top floor and there was a small art gallery in the basement, as I recall.

Exactly, jerrys! It is quite something inside! Some years, er, decades back, i was belonged to a group and we had dinner there. We looked at as much of it as was allowed at that time. I don;t know if they still do that anymore.

The Cupples House stands on the campus of Saint Louis University. It was built by Samuel Cupples, a lumber baron, and its interior features different (and elaborately carved and molded) species of wood in the woodwork of each of the main rooms. Spectacular!
