View from kitchen window, morning of December 9, 2020. In lower right corner of photo you can see a corner of our screened-in catio on the lower level of the deck. Down through the railing of the upper deck you can see the top frame of the cat run that sits on the grass (that's still green under the snow). The three of our cats who enjoyed the cat run in the summer have been down in the cat run multiple times since our first snow in October here in Calgary.

Actually, when the snow sticks to the tree branches like that, it doesn't feel very cold. But last week we had 10" of snow and a colder spell, so the snow is still on the ground in our shady back yard. The cat run, and the ramp and tunnel to it, all have at least 8" snow, so no cats. They aren't afraid of a couple of inches of snow, but this is too much.

So sorry to hear about Honey Bear and Chili Dog.
Enjoy your warm weather and look forward to a good new year.

Hi Beyondwords, It looks so cold, here we have just erected the swimming pool for the grandchildren and the birds are eating the ripening grapes, irritating the cats no end. I just realised that you recently inquired about my two rag dolls, Honey Bear and Chili Dog. Sadly both passed in 2019 aged 20 and 17. very missed.
