I thought a lynx at first but when I looked a lynx has a slightly rougher coat.

Me too. I've heard it was genetic, but can't think of a good reason for that trait to have developed.

When I saw this picture I was absolutely amazed. Only a few people can do the same trick, which is reportedly inherited. I also have this feature, but it has nothing to do with it. But what could be the benefit for the animal? Thanks to you, Shimmer!

The cat and I have something in common. My kids are jealous that I can do that.
