Gillian, our "foster home failure" rescued Keeshond, on her very first Christmas in 2000. The bow was dead 3 seconds later. This was our first Christmas without her. RIP sweet Gillian, our High Priestess of Naughtiness, you are so desperately missed and we're so incredibly blessed you chose to stay with us. 1/2000-7/23/2017 (17.5 years old.)

What a beautiful girl! I too, know how you feel. We had to put our beloved Bichon Cassie down in April of 2017. She was 17 years 3 months. She was our baby, our child, our everything. I still feel her presence every day. But I finally had to let go. I hope to see her again in the hereafter.

bhelen, thank you so much. She has left her footprints on not just our hearts but on my friend who was also her vet and others who knew and loved her. It hurts so much to lose one but I truly believe God will fill our little place in Heaven with not just our pets but many others who didn't have a human to call their own. The more the merrier!
