We live in southeastern Minnesota, about an hour's drive from the National Eagle Center. It's located in a small town, along the Mississippi River, named Wabasha. Since the establishment of the Eagle Center, the Bald Eagle population has increased. We see Bald Eagles in our area. There is a nesting pair at a limestone quarry just around the corner from our house. They are awesome to watch. Their ability to ride the air currents is so amazing!
We love to drive down to the Mississippi and watch the eagles fish. Wow!
If you have the opportunity, come to Minnesota and visit the National Eagle Center. There are lots of other great things to see and do, also. Come in the summer. Winters in Minnesota are not fun!
