Why are you reporting this puzzle?

A night table from my parent's bedroom set. As best I can figure they purchased the set in the 1930's. I love the detail and grain of the wood.

Good evening Larry, I enjoyed working your puzzle a few days ago :) Laughing at myself, I wrote a short reply but didn’t touch ‘Post Comment’. So . . this is just a short text to say a friendly “Hello” !

jerrys

@Teagardener You're welcome. You'll find that the application, rubbing and buffing occupies time during confinement!

Teagardener

Thank you Jerry, I’ll look for it this evening on Amazon (still staying out of stores), I need something better than lemon Pledge, so I appreciate your suggestion:)

jerrys

@Teagardener At the risk of being a (major) butt-inski...I use Butcher's Wax (in the yellow can). It's a paste that with a light, even application, rubs in beautifully and buffs to a great soft sheen. It's great, as well, as a final coat when making new or refinishing projects. I've used it for years.

Teagardener

Hi Larry :) Yes Sir, dust is something most of us have in common, but . . I’m looking for a better polishing product to protect my antiques next year, if you have a suggestion, I’d be interested.

LILarry

I'm glad my dust brought us all together!

racoonstar

And Happy Holidays to you, Teagardener!

Teagardener

Have a very Happy New Year Racoonstar, it’s an honest pleasure meeting you here :)

Teagardener

Yeah, dust can wait today, I’m not scared, lol :)

racoonstar

Yes, in time. :D

Teagardener

Hello @racoonstar, I’m smiling and . . . making fun of myself today;) I have a layer of dust that I should have already taken care of, but avoiding it till I finish packing away the Christmas decorations. It’s kinda a mixed blessing during lockdown, nobody will see the dust except me :)) But I have a Mom like yours, she’d rank this domestic duty around 10 or 11 ... When I see the dust on my door photo puzzles ( and LILarry’s furniture piece ), well, I imagine it’ll be polished, in time :)

racoonstar

Depends on who you are.
Me? maybe a 4 or 5.
My mother? Somewhere higher than 10.

Teagardener

Ahh, dust on furniture, on a scale of 1 to ten, it’s not really . . . . . :)

LILarry

Thank you racoonstar! Fortunately that dust maintains the fine patina on the piece. (Do you buy that one?)

racoonstar

Also beautiful, but look at all the nooks and crannies that have gathered dust! :D

LILarry

Thank you Monica! I wish I had the entire set.

I LOVE antiques, I go shopping at all of the old antique stores in Boulder City, Nev. a lot just to look at them. Wish we could afford them, as they are way out of our range of cost. But, their still fun to look at! One of these days I'm going to own an antique of my own. This piece is absolutely gorgeous! TFS Monica ♥

LILarry

Thank you @mother123456 !

LILarry

Thank you Tea and jerrys. I'll be uploading a another image of the only other piece I have of the set. I wish I had all of it, especially the makeup area/piece.

Teagardener

Beautiful, intricate details, thank you @LILarry :))

jerrys

@LILarry Wow ! If this night table is an indication, the set must be rather spectacular. Thanks for sharing it. Stay safe, stay well.

It's a handsome one for sure LILarry.
