Why are you reporting this puzzle?

(this is a repost of an image I posted early in my time on Jigidi -- with a lower piece count as I've learned there's lots of people who want puzzles with fewer pieces)

As you head into the interior of BC, you'll find lots of old farm houses from earlier settlement times dotting the landscape, many of the old farms slowly returning to nature. Many are from around the early 1900's.

There were some power lines going across the background. I tried to remove them as best I could but my photoshop skills are only so-so -- if you notice some smearing in the trees as you solve this, that's the cause.

Thanks for sharing dgcarlin. I enjoyed your puzzle. I grew up on my grandparent's farm, and I have a true love of these old places. When I moved here 25 years ago there was an old one room schoolhouse just a few miles away. It has been through 4 hurricanes over the past 20 years. the last one 5 years ago did some real damage. Think I will dig out the picture and post it.

Thanks for this. You did a great job with it.

@dbnc2 -- glad you liked it (in a sad sort of way?!)

If you like the look of "abandoned" things, you might browse some of my other puzzles that have that aspect (though not all of them are "old buildings").

This link will help you find them:

I do small puzzles because I have a 10 inche tablet I love doing old building but they make me feel sad because of all the memories that were made there

Fewer pieces are nice from time to time.Having a choice, even better.

@Colourcrazy -- thanks, glad you liked it.

Yes, I guess I see the "power line editing" because I know where it is in the frame ... though with Jigidi's resizing of submitted images, it does soften the pixels a bit, so the smudging blends in with the general blurring of the image. :-)

Thanks, I also prefer the smaller amount of pieces as I'm working off a laptop and my eyes are not what they used to be!
Well done! I didn't even notice a smudge in the trees, so your skills are quite fine by me! :)

@dgcarlin I'm a small-piecer, limited by screen size and patience levels to 100-or-less piece-counts. I appreciate the effort you've taken to produce images such as this one of elegant desolation within my self-imposed limitations! Many thanks.

Great picture. This scene reminds me of some of the places I've visited with my kids in Colorado. I can't imagine living there. I need to go to the grocery story at least 3 times a week. (I'm following you too. And I generally like puzzles that are less than 150 pieces, depending on how much time I have.)

I love this abandoned old homestead. Lovely photo. I appreciate you posting in smaller pieces for those of us that can't work the larger puzzles. In Joy the rest of your day....

I'm one of those who like fewer pieces, so thanks!
