Agree with your comment TOB, although they're not the most comfortable cars. I think that their appeal is universal, but today, anyone who likes them, tend to plump for their close rival, the hand-built, made-to-order Morgan I wouldn't mind owning one, but they're not really suitable for the British climate.

Now that I solved, this is the formerly USS Hornet, CV-12, now a museum, located in the harbor at the former NAS Alameda, CA.

Looks a lot like the (USS) Hornet in Alameda, now a museum, minus the many supply ships normally docked alongside. Not sure I've seen any of the MG's in anything close to this shade of blue. Perhaps my favorite shade of the color!
