I hope to someday get to see this gallery. I can tell it has many pieces of fine art; whether paintings or sculptures or ....... Thanks Lela! :)))
(time, 1:44)
it was a very arty and cultural experience. You will be entranced and impressed by the wonderful offerings. Postcards of each work of art can be purchased at the shop along with much more memorabilia. pleasanter if you bring your own wellies with no lasting foot problems
Yes precious-pebble.......no....and no......Admission is FREE to friends of Bugosiland - the Bugle will be shown here when it comes out.......(Junee is our Arts and Culture reporter).....
I take it that Juneeeee was doing a review for the Bugle. Has it been published yet? And will the article be accompanied by any coupons for discount admission tickets?
Just the one.......Fonseratum has to make sure people don't escape.....I mean, leave before they have seen all the works of art.......(it is part of our cultural education policy).......
Poor unclebluebottle plods away on his organ tirelessly in the morning, but all that can be heard is the sound of sloshing. His talents are wasted behind the scenes.
The sound of my beautiful organ reverberates around the gallery........I have a special room there, hidden from the public eye, and tend to perform my task every morning........
Oh No! Lela has been framed! But he is hung with such care. I hear nothing but slipped on some wet parquet floors. Will return once I get the Wellies on.
Mop coming over, was-shining-now-dripping......
Yes, fisherman's-friend-Robbie.......the ladies always appreciate the contours of my.......frame.......
Of course, it is a pity this picture doesn't have sound, as uncle Bluebottle is playing on his organ behind the scenes.........
overawed moi? I was too busy laughing at the get-up, not exactly art gallery wear, though one meets all types in those places, mop required over here please
This is, of course the most crowded section, as most people head straight for L'elangelus - Hippolytus will be taking more snaps on the Sundays, when things quieten down a little........
Yes still-in-Bermuda........Junee-was-shining seems overawed by the occasion!....
I can't see June being fooled by the poser, she is looking lovely as usual. The noise level must be horrendous Lela, the crowd reminds me of a gaggle of geese!
I really think it's SO crowded that it's almost impossible to see the crowd for the crowd!! Can't you send your photographer there at a moment when it's not so awfully crowded???
EXCUSE ME, End-of-your-tether........the "obvious lounge lizard" is me, myself, and I!.....Maybe, perhaps the bright lights shining on my beautiful jacket dazzled you for an instant!....(unless of course, you are referring to someone else in the crowded room).....
Our visit to the Oils, Lithographs, & Drawings section of the Bugosi Art Gallery (O.L.D.B.A.G.) continues today with a view of one of the more crowded rooms in the exhibit, known popularly as ' The Very Wet
Room" due to its propensity to cause runny noses........
Here we have L'elangelus strutting his stuff next to an image of the dainty and glorious "Fountain Of Youth", which can actually be seen (and touched) in Bugosi Square, Bonga-Bonga.......
Junee-was-shining is pictured on entering the busy room....before the onset of dripping nose syndrome......
