Grizzly in Yellowstone - Seth Royal Kroft

Seth Kroft said, "I had heard of a Grizzly that took down a large bull elk in Yellowstone and buried it next to the river. A grizzly bear is always an exciting sight to see, and when the odds are this high of seeing one feasting on a carcass, it's an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

With an alarm set for 2 am I was on the road by 2:30 arriving at the location by 6am. It was still dark, so with a hot cup of noodles in hand I got my Sony camera and wildlife lens ready and waited for daybreak. Soon I could make out the dark ball laying across the river 150 yards away. The sun began to rise, the river mist slowly subsided, and the photo frenzy began.

As if this wasn't enough, out of the woods walks a grey wolf that had picked up on the scent of the large decaying animal, and I captured one of the greatest photos of my life. — at Yellowstone National Park."
