My duties have somehow multiplied, and I don't seem to have the time to play on Jigidi. I'll just have to make time, I can see. All is well and has been with us, our horses, donkeys, and the winery. I am trying to catch up on posting credit card bills so I can release the books to our auditors. I hate it when I get so behind in that.

You're right, Juba. And TIM. She is starting to nibble on grain and alfalfa, too. It's amazing.

It's also a way to supplement their diet...

She sounds like a human baby. They put everything in their mouths. It’s their way of exploring the world. :-)

Too bad about your girlfriend, TIM! Yes, brown is good!! She loves people and nibbles on our hands and arms. I hope that habit goes away when she gets teeth... :)

What a coincidence! I had a girlfriend named Foxy Shadow. But my friends called her Shamu... not really sure why, maybe because she was about the same size as Joycey... or maybe because of her dorsal gin. But we didn't stay together very long. One night I took her to Red Lobster for dinner and 20+ years later I'm still paying the bill.

Glad to see Joycey and Foxy Shadow are doing well. I'd say Foxy Shadow looks great, but I have no idea what a week old foal is supposed to look like.... but she looks... she looks... she looks brown. That's good, right? Good job Joycey, your baby is very cute!

Thank you all for the sweet comments. She is doing better than expected for 6 days old, and is as curious as a cat. She's started mouthing grain, and she licks and gums our hands when we are petting her. She is going to be a people-oriented horse for sure! Love y'all!
