In Eastern Kentucky, they had the moonshine even closer in the still of the night.

What a beautiful sight Lilli, I like this picture with the clouds, the Blue Moon gives them light to show them in a different manner than the sun, here I can see the shadows more easily. Thanks fot sharing this one with us my friend.

I saw it as it was rising in 2018. It was huge!

This may have been an event more important to enthusiastic astronomers...there are some great photos from Greece and Turkey who had a cloudless sky when the moon first rose and looked really big for a short time. This picture is probably the best we could do on the east coast here, but still worthy of a picture.
Audrey, that one day when the moon was closest, was what the fuss was all about...

Folks, there may be a little confusion about my request... If you go into the bar at the top that says "puzzles" and click on your own "name" it will open to show, among other things, "followed users" where you can click the name in blue under any picture and add it into that section. By browsing through a person's published puzzles it is easier to keep up with their creations. I find most of the puzzles I want to do that way.

Here in Sydney we did see the super moon last night, as it rose at 5:46pm not long into dusk. They said it would be larger than a full moon, and I can report that it was. ♥♥♥

And this one was a Super Super/Blue moon. It was the closest of the super moons this year. Awesome!!!
