Why are you reporting this puzzle?

The Swallow's Nest is a decorative castle located at Gaspra, a small spa town between Yalta and Alupka, in the Crimean Peninsula. It was built between 1911 and 1912, on top of the 40-metre (130 ft) high Aurora Cliff, in a Neo-Gothic design by the Russian architect Leonid Sherwood[nb 2] for the Baltic German businessman Baron von Steingel.

The castle overlooks the Cape of Ai-Todor on the Black Sea coast and is located near the remains of the Roman castrum of Charax.[2] The Swallow's Nest is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Crimea, having become the symbol of Crimea's southern coastline.

Good one, bjondron.

dhi

Thanks for the laugh, bjondron.

Bet the pay was crappy too! Most didn't even like their king either, I suspect.
Certainly needs some assembly required.

kmccarrel

Probably still wouldn't help. Maybe "Dumber Dummies".

dhi

I quite agree, Ken, just the logistics boggle my mind.

Or books on: "Castle Building for Dummies"? Hee,hee

kmccarrel

Can't even imagine the ingenuity and labor that went into these so many years ago. Not to mention to be built in the lifespan of one king.

dhi

I wonder if books have been written on the trials of creating these edifices in these tricky places?

Thank you for that.

kmccarrel

@soupdragon46
Please see description as I added the info you requested.

Please excuse my ignorance, but is this a famous castle if so where is it please?. It is beautiful and i really enjoyed doing the puzzle. Thank you for posting .

Edithmarianne

This is very nice!

Looks like we all blanked out on that one, Lionel. I’m usually good with word play...

LOL I played in a piano bar for decades. I've acquired a multitude of musical one liners.

dhi

Great entertainer!

Thanks for the apologies.
" " " memories. For those who remember Bob Hope.

Donnajames

@LionelV - Yep! I missed it too. Can I laugh now? hahahahahahahahaha

kmccarrel

As did I. Thanks for helping us see your wit. Great thinking.

dhi

You are right, I completely missed it.

It appears that nobody got my joke Crimea River. Duh! "Cry Me a River" like the song?

dhi

Yes, I was very impressed, Birgit.

Donnajames

What a view...what a home!!! dj

Birgit73

That’s not chump change from a service so they must know that something was wrong. What a lovely $$ surprise.

Birgit73

I’ve posted a more distant view of the Swallow’s Nest but this image does give a lot of detail.

dhi

I just got a $500 credit from my service provider this morning and it is going a long way to lift some of my stress!

dhi

'Castel' or not, it still works for me.

How intriguing. Many thanks for sharing this wonderful picture!

Not technically a castle. Built in 1910.

dhi

I would love to spend some time there recuperating. Thanks, Ken.

Would that be the Crimea River? (-:)

kmccarrel

What a fantastic castle and the view you dream of.

Once I get there, I'm not coming back...sent those pigeons!
