My parents were married there! I attended services when I lived in Andover at one time. Lived in an apartment over a store in the High Street and loved the Saturday market. Nice you and your sister are reconnecting. I'm an "only"!

Well, our world is getting smaller by the minute, Lol. I'm next door to St Mary's Surgery, behind St Mary's Church, very quiet and secluded. Born in London, I moved to Corby in Northamptonshire with the husband and children 37 years ago, and my sister moved to Andover at the same time. My husband has now passed, and the kids are grown with kids of their own, so time now for me and my sister to reconnect. We've just heard we are back into lock down on Thursday, so that should be fun again! Stay safe, it's been nice chatting with you. ;D

I was born in Andover. Lived there on and off. Hampshire is very pretty in parts. Where are you? You've visited quite a lot of the US. The West Coast is very different.
Hope you include it on you bucket list too! We got 4 children for "Trick or Treat" which was a surprise.

As you say, small world, Lol, I loved it all around there, Taplow, Marlow etc. I live in Hampshire now, lovely countryside. Not been to Oregon yet, but have visited N.Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. Montana on my bucket list. Stay safe.

Small world! I vaguely remember Cookham Abbey. Then Beaconsfield - was a nannie there, WAY back- Slough, Windsor, etc and Marlow, Maidenhead-was a groom with horses nearby-and my Dad was at RAF Daws Hill. Must have met you at one of these places!! Lived in OR, WA, CA and just moved to Gearhart, OR. Hope you and yours are all virus free and happy as possible. Just can't go back, can we? Can't beat the English countryside and villages.

Wow, justgypsy, if your friend looked like I am now way back then, she has my sympathy, Lol. I spent a lot of my teenage years at Cookham where my then husband to be lived, it used to be a lovely place, don't know what it's like now though.

SO colorful. Thanks for posting mommamid. Have to mention that your profile photo reminds me of a girl I went to school with at Netherwood, High Wycombe, named Alexandrovna Lane. The school doesn't exist any more.

Loved it
