this is a set of grips made out of mesquite wood for a High Standard Sport King that I made for my son who is left handed. no stain used...just boiled linseed oil for the finish.

Thanks for the compliments gents...it was more fun than work actually....I have about 20-25 sets of grips for my own Ruger Mark II pistol and have had a ball making them for my friends. It's fun to sit on the front porch with the owner and his pistol and file,whittle,sand,and carve until the gun feels like a natural part of his hand and when he holds it out in front of himself, he's looking straight down the sites and almost on target with little or no further movement necessary.
