In reality I didn't plant enough. It's not too late to plant more. Radishes are a potato substitute. There are many roasted radish recipes on YouTube. I gave up most carbs several years ago. I'm a slim 150 Lbs. No potatoes or corn in my garden. Kohlrabi is another potato substitute. I have a few plants in the soil. The will be in raised beds next year, and many of them. It got so hot so quick this year my broccoli and cauliflower bolted. It was not a good year for them.

California White garlic is a mild soft neck type. The Siberian is a hard neck and has more flavor.

I need to get to know different kinds of garlic. I just buy some I like at the farmers' market and plant it.

I can see growing lots of garlic. But radishes? What will you do with that many?
