We were walking on a trail by Mendenhall Glacier outside of Juneau. Our guide would give us photography assignments. This is my closeup of a flower. Have no idea what kind it is. Sorry

An enjoyable puzzle to save till this evening :) I believe @editrix is right, it looks like Goatsbeard to me too. It’s a pretty plant to have in a garden! I’m glad you got to see it in Alaska . .

Lovely photo, and fun puzzle.

If I were guessing, I'd suggest perhaps it's a goatsbeard, Aruncus sylvester, because of the branching, feathery bracts of blossom. If the flowers were on a tallish plant with lacy, almost fern-like compound leaves, that would further support the identification. But what it is doesn't matter to my ability to enjoy your puzzle!
