The cats keep them under control and it reduces the cat food bill at the same time. Seeds are cheeper then meat.

Free seeds for all birds? Once his little mates find out what you are handing out, they'll all come flocking to your bird feeders :-)

No ditto they eat the bugs on the fly so I do not have to supply them with very much.
