I have to join in as I have no clue to base ball (girls play it here and it is called rounder's an old Fashioned Victorian game). Have to say that the "Cubs" even made our daily press in all papers saying that the last time they won was in 1908 the zipper for men's trousers and women's skirts was still to be invented as was the hair dryer. When the World Series goes all 7 games, then into extra innings, and then the Champion is determined by the last pitch of the last game, well. it just doesn't get any better than that. On that final pitch, if Michael Martinez would have hit it out of the park with one man on, Cleveland would have won the series.

One pitch, one swing, one hit and one throw determined this year's winner. It's baseball in a euphoric state and it will go down as one of the best World Series' ever.

What a nail biter. Congratulations to the Cubs!
