A very old toy/exercise machine updated in 2008 or so. Gives a real workout, but is easy on these old knees.

Looks like just the thing PaddyNZ. But $3000? I'll have to pass on it, even though it looks like the perfect fun workout machine.

radiojerry

Well, I have a $1500 mobility scooter that I got from Amazon which is very effective. When I remove the 20 lb battery pack, the remaining 56 lbs is light enough for me to lift it into the back of my pickup truck. I have excellent upper body strength for being 2 months short of turning 76.

If it is hard on the knees, or hips, then why not just go to a golf cart? radiojerry? They are lots of fun.
Pat.

Thanks for the links, PaddyNZ. Looked them over. I already have a mountain bike with a motorized front wheel. Problem is my hips are shot also and I now have trouble lifting my leg high enough to clear the seat. Really need something like shown in the puzzle.

radiojerry

Thanks, I'll try that out.

Just click on a picture and then click on visit to find out about that particular one. You can find some new ones in there.

Took a look at the link and it was quite a photo collection. I was looking for something that was on the market for sale as a new item.

Looked around on the internet for something similar to this but could not find anything suitable.

My cousin had one of those,,,, only much older,, back in the '50's. You pump the handle bars to make it go ,, instead of pedals. I haven't seen anything like that in decades.

radiojerry

I could sure use one of those. My knees are shot!
