Hi Meggs, I missed the opportunity to meet her and her young man twice sadly, First time I was invited to an expedition in London which they could not attend as they were elsewhere. the second time they invited me to an opera in London that time I was sadly elsewhere. So annoying now that I look back. Just to say I live in the middle of England a long way from London where Patricia lives, I do know she lives in a very posh part of London in Notting Hill as did her Mum and young man but he also was quite ill the last time I spoke to her as was her Mum. Her address is number 2 but where I do not know. I know that she has always voted but I do not know her surname which if I did I could find her easy. LOL!!!
Meggs my time was 2:26. I hope to go to London in the summer to see if Patricia is still there or has gone back to Italy where most of her family live.
such a sad exchange below....hope all is well for everyone concerned....I didn’t know any of this until now, just that her mum was sick and she was going to be the caretaker....hang in there, all..... @CJ45@jeribar8 oh, my time is 1:50
Well, it's not gallstones, so I don't know what it is. I'm hoping I'll be able to talk to the doctor there tomorrow as I'm, fortunately, fairly clued up about medical matters having worked in the field. 'Young man' is taking me to the hospital - he's a good lad. Thanks, Clive!
Oh Patricia I fell so sorry for you at the moment but you do not need your gall bladder but having an operation at your Mums age has complications for its removal as you may well know. Lets hope she can get better with medication and shout at you again. Get well Mum for Patricia.
You are very kind, Clive - thank you. She had no abdominal pain, however. 'Young man' had gallstones and the pain is utterly excruciating. He had to have it removed in the end (a while back).
I do know that if your pancreas is not working well it gives you lots of pain like a bad stomach ache oh your poor Mum Patricia. Please send my love to her.
Oh Patricia, I am pleased she is getting the care she deservers and that she pulls through, her chest infection which is the most problem for her as it does have horrible effects on all of us. Her heart can easily be corrected with their new machine's that they have now days. I must say that the last first aid programme that I had to attend as a first aider on building sites was the use of the new machines for heart corrections but found myself unable to use them sadly I still prefer the old methods which I can do without any problem. We do not have these machines on our building sites although every fire station in Northampton has them outside their stations on the wall to be use in such an emergency.
Mum is now in hospital being very well looked after. Turns out she also has a chest infection and her heart is beating a bit irregularly, so the are treating her for everything. Very thorough young doctor: I liked her a lot.
Oh, Patricia your Mother sounds exactly like my wife too bossy and tells every one that they are all too incompetent. LOL!!! I do hope she will get better. I also have my problems with my wife due to kidney problems but she will not be told and now only has one kidney that works due to being obstinate. So I do understand.
Thank you, Clive. She has finally capitulated and agreed that she would go into hospital tomorrow. Her kidney team are there and they can do all the tests that they were wanting to do anyway at an outpatient appt. Your kind words are very much appreciated. x x x
Oh, Patricia I am so upset to here your Mother is ill again and I do hope she will pull through so she can tell you off again. I am at a loss to say comforting words to you but I do hope she pulls through. My love to you and your dear Mother. XXX.
Hi Patricia, I must admit I do enjoy all your puzzles and also the ones that had faces in them from a little while ago which was really exciting. LOL!!! How are the cousins getting on?
