A friend taught me how to knit when I was quite young, but I taught myself how to crochet a few years later. Now arthritis in my thumb makes knitting a bit more painful than the crocheting. Good luck with your projects.

Dealing with mud now. Have to have an old bath towel at the door to wipe of the dog's paws when she comes in. Have a nice time in sunny AZ! Looking forward to the warm when you return! :)

It will be here before you know. Have to get through the muddy months first. We are going to escape it for a little while, visiting relatives in Arizona. We'll try to bring back some warmth.

The coat matching was purely accidental because I had started the hat just for something to do while watching tv. She saw it and asked if she could have it, so I finished it to fit her.
