Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Although the purpose of this dig is to look for things from the Spanish Civil War, this is something our grandson found yesterday, from a couple millennia before Franco et al!

Cyndi, I know how excited *I* was to learn about this! :-)

lilliwebs, I'm glad you were able to follow one of your dreams. ;-) I'm thinking that our grandson is looking to follow his dad's example -- his father worked as a restoration technician at the Smithsonian Museum of American History in D.C. and as a field archeologist in NM. (Sadly, his dad/our son suffered a major heart attack at 39 that left him with brain damage which robbed him of much of his amazing thought processes. But his son is definitely showing promise! ☺)

My two dream jobs were librarian and archaeologist...well, I got one out of two...but I still wonder what could have been, especially when I see scenes like this. Your grandson will remember this forever :)

I can only imagine how excited your grandson was when he found this Roman coin. I know I would have been "over-the-moon" with excitement.
